Overview

Caerus Cafe and Bistro, nestled in the bustling UGF Parkway SM Fairview along Quirino Highway in Novaliches, Quezon City, offers more than just a meal—it delivers a heartfelt dining experience. This restaurant exudes a welcoming, homey ambiance that makes it an ideal spot for friends and families wanting to unwind while enjoying Filipino comfort food with a modern twist.

The culinary offerings here strike a balance between familiar flavors and creative presentations. Among the grilled specialties, the Chili Chicken Chops stand out with their spicy seasoning that perfectly complements the juicy chicken thigh fillet. The Salisbury Steak—crafted from quality beef and glazed with a decadent truffle demi—echoes the richness you crave in a hearty main dish. For those who prefer pork, the Grilled Liempo carries that classic smoky sweetness, elevated by a traditional BBQ marinade. Likewise, the Lemongrass Chicken enchants with a meld of soy, rosemary, and fresh lemongrass, crafting a fragrant yet savory profile.

Pasta lovers will find themselves enchanted by inventive dishes like the Smoked Fish and Salted Egg Pasta or the Bacon and Shrimp Pasta, where seafood and smoky undertones converge beautifully. The flavors remain bold without overwhelming the senses, anchoring the meal firmly in local culinary roots while stepping confidently towards bistro-style refinement.

Beverage options, from the warm Osmanthus Petal Tea to vibrant concentrated fruit juices like guava, mango, or cranberry, complement the menu thoughtfully. These drinks provide refreshing contrasts, ensuring a well-rounded dining experience. The coffee selections, including the robust Cappuccino and rich Mochaccino, are crafted with care, perfect for concluding your meal or sparking conversation over afternoon catch-ups.

Breakfast at Caerus Cafe and Bistro is no less impressive. The Ube Champorado combines traditional Filipino sweetness and texture, topped with crispy daing, perfectly balancing indulgence and nostalgia.

Customer reviews consistently highlight a few undeniable strengths: the quality and generosity of servings, the attentive and friendly service, and a charming, relaxed environment. Diners frequently praise the Mixed Seafood Thermidor, a creamy, indulgent dish bursting with shrimp, squid, and salmon, and the fall-off-the-bone Baby Back Ribs glazed to savory perfection. Other favorites include the tender roast beef and unforgettable sisig topped with crunchy, fresh chicharon that defies the usual pitfalls of this classic.

While a minor note was made about the temperature of mashed potatoes paired with Salisbury steak and an initial hiccup with wine service, these are but fleeting shadows amid otherwise glowing praises. The attentive staff warmly engage diners without fiddling too much, maintaining a fine balance between hospitality and comfort.

Caerus Cafe and Bistro is a culinary haven for those who appreciate Filipino flavors served with finesse in a bistro setting. Its location inside a convenient mall makes it accessible yet cozy. Whether you're meeting up with old friends, having a family dinner, or seeking a relaxing solo meal, Caerus Cafe caters to a diverse and discerning audience.

In sum, Caerus Cafe and Bistro delivers on its promise of a satisfying, flavorful journey through both traditional and contemporary Filipino dishes, wrapped in warm service and an inviting setting. It’s a restaurant to revisit and relish, time and again.

Caerus Cafe and Bistro Review: 5 Stars (with Minor Tweaks!) Overall, Caerus Cafe and Bistro delivered an excellent dining experience that easily earns 5 stars! The food was genuinely great across the board. Standouts included the perfectly cooked salmon spears (delicious!), tender calamari (very good), and outstanding fried chicken (truly excellent). My Salisbury steak was flavorful, though the mashed potatoes were a tad cool – easily solved by mixing them into the rich gravy. Service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The only hiccup was with the wine: I specifically asked if the bottle was chilled before ordering, was told "yes," but it arrived clearly unchilled, hastily placed in an ice bucket. It felt like an afterthought ("lol"), though it did chill eventually. Final thoughts: Don't hesitate to visit! The minor wine service slip and lukewarm mash were easily overshadowed by consistently fantastic food and great service. I’ll definitely be back for more fried chicken and salmon spears!

Dining at Caerus Cafe and Bistro was an absolute delight from start to finish, the restaurant offers an inviting ambiance that sets the perfect tone for a relaxed and satisfying meal. We ordered a variety of dishes: Calamares, Kare-Kare, Fried Chicken, Baby Back Ribs, and Mixed Seafood Thermidor—and every single item delivered in both flavor and presentation. the Baby Back Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with a delicious glaze. The standout, was the Mixed Seafood Thermidor—creamy, flavorful, and indulgently satisfying. Service was consistently attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience without ever feeling intrusive. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and offered helpful recommendations with a smile. Overall, Caerus Cafe and Bistro delivers on all fronts—delicious food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended!

All the foods that we ordered tasted really good. Their Seafood thermidor is the one you can't miss when dining here. It's creamy, savory and has generous servings of shrimp, squid and salmon. The roast beef was very very tender and also a must try. The half slab of ribs is enough for 2-3 as well as the other main dishes. Their cakes are also good. Overall will definitely come again

We ordered the Laing, Sizzling Sisig, and the Mango Crème Brûlée Cake. What really stood out was their sisig—I liked that the chicharon didn’t taste old or "makunat". Definitely a must try.
